Administrative Assistant
Primary Responsibilities
- Ability to support General Manager, Store Managers and Vincentians
- Ability to research business related topics and make logical decisions based on the results.
- Manages multi-line telephone for the store operations.
- Coordinates all SVDP calls requesting aid
- Creates advertising signs for SVDPWC social media.
- Follow company guidelines, according to the employee handbook.
- Attend meetings as needed by General Manager
- Manages and maintains employee confidential files to include employment applications, worker's compensation, unemployment compensation and insurance benefits.
- Entering bills for payment and creating invoices for used clothing bales.
- Research, Plan, and Coordinates SVDPWC store & community events.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- College degree desired but not required or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years retail experience preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Proficient level – Microsoft Office Systems
- Proficient with QuickBooks
- Experience in admin level phone and software administration.
- Proficient level – software skills
- Experience with metrics and financial reporting.
- Experience with POS, time keeping, and other software systems.
- Experience with event planning.
- Experience in LTL Shipping
- Experience in Websites and social media.
- Knowledge & Experience of common business to business practices
- Knowledge of Local, State, & Federal regulation and compliance
- Knowledge of Common Human Resources practices and laws.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 25lbs.
- Sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to use ladder /stairs.
